What this document is for

Start with the right county form.

The five-page PDF combines instructions with utility worksheets for garden or high-rise apartments, attached two-wall units, semi-detached three-wall units and detached four-wall homes. The schedules are organized by bedroom count and the utilities paid by the household.

This is a document published by the Housing Authority of Prince George’s County (HAPGC). Tenise Foxx is not the issuing agency and does not approve these forms.
Use it with care

Before you submit.

  • 01
    Match the property type

Use the worksheet for the unit’s building type and exposed walls as described in HAPGC’s document.

  • 02
    Identify who pays each utility

The worksheet depends on the household-paid utilities and the unit’s bedroom count. Follow HAPGC’s instructions for which utilities to mark.

  • 03
    Confirm the current calculation

A utility allowance is one part of the rent review. It does not set the approved contract rent or replace HAPGC’s payment worksheet and review.

Important before you use this form

Date check: the HAPGC PDF includes a schedule dated June 1, 2026, and also displays an OMB approval expiration date of April 30, 2026. Confirm with HAPGC that this is the currently accepted worksheet before relying on its values. The authority makes the final rent and utility determination.

Answers for property owners

Common questions about this HAPGC document.

What does the HAPGC utility allowance PDF include?

It includes instructions and four unit-type worksheets, with utility allowances organized by bedroom count for tenant-furnished utilities and services.

Does the utility allowance equal the voucher payment standard?

Is the 2026 HAPGC schedule current?

The county PDF contains a schedule dated June 1, 2026, but also displays an OMB approval expiration date of April 30, 2026. Ask HAPGC whether it remains the correct worksheet before using the amounts.
